Operator Safety

With any crane purchased from Runnion Equipment, you will receive free admission to one of our biannual Boom Truck Operators Safety Classes. This class covers essential topics such as proper set up, lifting gear safety, understanding ground conditions, power line safety, and how to read your load chart. Many of our customers attend regularly as part of their loss control program.

This class is also open to anyone for a fee. Additionally, if it’s more convenient for you, we can bring the training directly to your location for your operators.

Maintenance Seminars

Runnion provides maintenance seminars that include basic boom truck maintenance instruction. Our factory-trained mechanics share some of the tricks of the trade that we have learned over the past 50 years. Proper greasing techniques are revealed that detail the best type of grease, how much to use, commonly overlooked areas.

We will show you how to perform a visual inspection: what to look at, what to look for, and how to listen to your crane in order to determine when it is time to call the professionals.
