All new hires are given a series of safety training steps which includes videos, verbal instruction, and handwritten tests. Our Service Department holds weekly safety meetings to discuss procedures and to address situations that arise in our shop. Unsafe practices are not tolerated and any borderline situations are analyzed in the group in order to learn from our mistakes. Mechanics are rewarded for meeting injury free / no lost time goals. Rental customers are provided with training materials and a complete “once-over” to review the operational capabilities and limitations of the unit they are renting.

All of our customers buying new units are given a free reservation at our bi-annual “Operator Safety Training Refresher Seminar”. This 8 hour session is held for two day in the spring and again in the fall and is sponsored by Runnion Equipment Company and includes a professional Safety Instructor as well as presentations by experienced Runnion Employees. Class size is limited to twenty people per 8 hour class. Customers can purchase additional reservations for a fee and many return year after year.
